Each day of the week will have a special feature on the Underground Radical blog.
Here is the intended weekly line-up
Monday: Lefty music. A clip from youtube or another sourceof some good political music.
Tuesday: Weekly document. Here we link to a significant historical document. We encourage the readership of the blog to read the document and join us in a discussion about its merits as a tool of democracy.
Wednesday: Alternative news source of the week
Thursday: Radical/ progressive writer/thinker profile.
Friday: Weekly documentary. Lighten up, it’s the weekend. Each week we will invite you to an online screening of a documentary that we feel has made a significant contribution to knowledge and political action.
Saturday: Country profile. As the blog is about educating ourselves, we seek to broaden our horizons by profiling a new country each week and studying its history and those movements within the country that we, as progressives, can support.
Sunday: Weekly blog profile. An appraisal of obscure and seldom mentioned blogs that deserve more spotlight for their focus on content and quality over design.
If you have a suggestion or contribution, please let us know at info@undergroundradical.com
Language class
We underground radicals understand the value of diversity and internationalism. That is why we will pursue ongoing language classes on the blog. We will be following the 12 week language programmes available on the BBC website. We invite and encourage readers to join us in taking these courses and becoming polyglots. We will post up the suggested course work once a week. We hope the end result to be several blog posts written in the language we ave learned over the last 12 weeks, followed by a discussion among readers that have also taken the course.
By creating a weekly schedule we hope that you stop by daily or as frequently as possible and that you consider this a community website that wants to share news and experiences and not just relay them
