I have to disagree with you here. I have actually been to Tibet. Not just to Lhasa, I’ve actually hitchhiked across the bulk of it, from Kathmandu to Lhasa to Yunann, China.

What’s going on in Tibet is nothing short of ethnic cleansing. In every major town I came to along the way, what I found was a new, modern center filled with ethnic Chinese. There were shopping malls and banks and atms. On the outskirts of town, there was always an old, smaller section where the Tibetans had been forced.

It is perhaps very similar to what happened to the Native Americans in the US. I agree that Tibet has just become a trendy talking point, and most people really don’t give a sh*t about it, or even know anything about it. But ethnic cleansing is and has been going on there for fifty years, and the results are pretty grim.

The pity of this Presidential race in America is nobody has addressed the working class as a whole. Poverty binds people together more than colour divides them.

Forget MLK’s Black Consciousness, find a leader who will appeal to Poor Consciousness.
Though a pampered middle class liberal myself I’d guess being cold and hungry feels much the same whether one’s skin is black, white or somewhere between.
I, BTW am technically black, a quatroon, having one grandparent who was a native of India. Otherwise I’m English, I drink tea, eat fish and chips, support my local football - never soccer - team and like my bread toasted on both sides. And because I am well presented and in a high income bracket nobody comments on the slight touch of the tarbrush.
It’s time we got this whole race thing into perspective.

So, I wonder if you think the First Amendment means anything? Why is it that liberals want to snuff out any conservative idea and call it foolish? We simply want equal representation in school. You want to teach evolution? Fine. Teach it. But gives us the chance to do it as well. Is that wrong? I ask that because most liberals act as if it is wrong to want to teach both alongside each other. Richard Dawkins even admitted in the film and his book, The God Delusion, that God cannot be disproved. He said that he is not 100% positive because, by his own admission, “We don’t know.” If you aren’t teaching truth? Then why can’t we teach this aspect as well?

If you are so convinced that your evidence for Darwinian theory will stand up to ID, then what do you have to be afraid of?

I’d like to hear your responses.
